Campus Kitchen supports student food security by serving a free community meal every Wednesday from would-be food waste from IU Catering.
Crimson Cupboard provides free food to students––help run the pantry or donate food to Hoosier Hills Food Bank on behalf of the Cupboard!
Hilltop Garden works in collaboration with IU students/staff and the wider Bloomington community to provide gardening education, resources and opportunities.
Campus Farm provides fresh food to IU Dining and community members/students
Greening Cream & Crimson makes game days more sustainable by overseeing proper recycling and waste management through IU Athletics.

Tracking our progress towards a more sustainable campus

How are we doing? The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education oversees STARS, a framework through which universities can report and track their own progress towards sustainability goals. We have joined universities across the country in a commitment to act on our sustainability values, for the good of the IU community.
