Events and Opportunities

'Beyond Zero' Film Screening

April 3 — 7pm
Beyond Zero is a documentary that showcases the sustainability journey of one company, Interface, its leadership, and the impact on innovation and resilience.


First Thursday

April 4 — 5-8pm
Enjoy the First Thursday festival that will inlcude some Earth Month themed activities. Visit the Integrated Program for the Environment (IPE) and Hilltop Gardens table to plant a starter to take home.


Colloquium Series: Dr. Pablo Bose

April 5 — 3pm
"Starts and Stops and Constant Change: Climate, Agriculture, and Refugee Resettlement Programs in the US" in the Student Building Room 005.


GHG Accounting: Scopes 1 & 2

April 10 — 5-7pm
Learn the basics of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Accounting for Scope 1 & 2 and explore the methods for quantifying emissions disclosure.

Plant Your Ideas

Campus River Cleanup and Sampling

April 12 — 1-3pm
Volunteers will have the option to help with cleanup of debris, water sampling, and soil sampling along the campus river.


Women in Conservation Picnic

April 14 — 2-3:30pm
Join the Women in Conservation (WIC) student organization for their first annual community-fostering picnic event.


Sustainable Futures: Public Health & Sustainability

Arbor Day Tree Planting

Preserving Garden Flowers Workshop

Learn different methods for preserving plants and flowers.


ERI Research Symposium & Luncheon

Learn about the latest research being conducted by IU faculty in the climate, environment, and sustainability space.


Sustainability Symposium

Tree Walking Tour

Walk through campus to learn the various tree species on the IU campus using this self-guided tour map. The full tour takes about 1 hour to walk.
