Be rewarded for being a sustainable commuter. Join the Hoosier Commuter Club, and you'll join hundreds of IU Bloomington individuals who care about their health and the environment, and who help the university reduce peak-hour commute trips – a critical component in the campus master plan. There are many benefits to joining the HOCC, check them out at https://transportation.indiana.edu/hoosier-commuter-club/index.html
Bike Racks
Not only is regular cycling beneficial for the environment, it also has a positive impact on human health. Cycling stimulates and improves your heart, lungs and circulation, reducing your risk of cardiovascular diseases. It also strengthens your heart muscles, lowers resting pulse and reduces blood fat levels.
There are over 100 bicycle racks available throughout IU’s campus that are first come first served and the Ballantine Bike Hub. Located on the northeast corner of Ballantine Hall, the hub provides indoor space for over 100 bicycles, two bike repair stations, and a bike parts vending machine. The hub is accessible 24/7 to students, faculty, and staff with a valid CrimsonCard
